Another Record!

Today our high heel cake server was featured in the Sunday Mirror and we recorded a massive new record number of orders (27 in total).
What a day!

Is it really a month?

Wow - it's been a month since I bothered adding a post. I can't believe time goes so quickly.
Anyway it's been a brilliant month of records:
We had a record day for orders on 16th (13 orders) and then another record yesterday (17 orders). And we hope for even more with the expected rush for Christmas gifts

New Kitchen Taps

Ziggiziggi has made a major expansion to its range of designer kitchen taps with the introduction of a large number of new styles and designs
In keeping with ziggi's house style, the emphasis is on modern and contemporary products (It's all to do with Pamelas taste!)

Ziggiziggi upgrades its' site

Our latest site upgrade brings in the addition of rotating 'ad banners' on the top of every page.
The banners link to various pages and categories including scented candles and kids toys.

Building on a successful market

It's strange that we are a luxury gifts website yet one of our biggest areas is bathroom accessories. It could just be that Pamela chooses products that people want.
But whatever the reason, you should always build on success and not take your strengths for granted so.....we have just added yet another range of bathroom accessories.
The latest range is from Metaform of Italy and is a hotellerie style range that combines classic styling, solid construction and oustanding value for money.
Typical customers are commercial specifiers and budget conscious individuals.

Cake Servers and Cake Stands

Ziggiziggi has added loads of fun and unusual cake servers, cake knives and slices to this already exciting range.
New ideas include zebra and leopard prints together with matching forks, fork sets and even a high heel cheese slice

Autumn Fair

We went to the autumn fair today and found loads of exciting new products ranging from fine childrens bedding and bedroom fabrics to new glassware, bathroom products and even crazy chicken style egg cups and matching ceramics
Pamela will be busy over the next few months getting these listed!

We've added to the mezza and arena solid wood bathroomfurniture ranges with some great new bathroom accessories including tissue box covers, useful storage boxes and much more

We now offer a choice of 12 with more sceduled later this year

Following a long meeting on Friday, we will soon be adding the Swiss made Schneider bathroom cabinet ranges and the Swedish made Smedbo bathroom accessories collection.
These will be the most expensive bathroom cabinets and accessories that we offer.

We've been discussing our marketing campaign with Joseph Tirelli and he said that a lot of magazines are already looking at their Christmas features so even though it's mid summer we've switched on our Christmas 2009 category

A new category has been added to the fast growing bathroom accessory products on offer from Ziggiziggi. The latest range is bathroom stools and seats available in a choice of white together with 5 fresh bright colours.

Childrens Toys & Gifts expands

The childrens toys section has been building steadily, particularly in sales of the wooden mobiles and height charts (I think people are turning back to more traditional products and values).
Pamela has expanded the ziggikidz area to include small range of colourful childrens tableware

Worlds best kitchen taps

Although the kitchen tap collection is pretty compact, we have added the stunning LED electronic kitchen taps from Armando Vicario.
They have LED lights in the spout that illuminate the water flow and vary colour depending on the temperature.

Pamela has added the fun shower caps by Bliss to her funky bathroom accessories range. They are priced at only £5 each and come packed in a trendy metal tin.

Ziggiziggi has added the stunning new gel candles range by Stoneglow to their scented candle collection. Available in three striking colours, they are naturally fragranced and come beautifully presented in coloured glass tumblers.

Pulse Exhibition

We went to Pulse at Earls Court today.
It was smaller than before but we found some great potential suppliers (and had a nice lunch as well)
One that stood out was 'Cullinary Concepts'. Their designs are classy and elegant and in particular we loved their flute vases, lovers champagne flutes, giant candelabras and lanterns

Crazy Koziol

We love the crazy designs by Koziol, a leading German design house making plastic fantastic.
Products in the range include coffee canisters, salad servers, fruit bowls, bathroom accessories and many other mad ideas including the fun pico bella crumb sweeper.
The full range will be available in June

We've just added 3 new bathroom cabinets by Gedy of Italy. They're not cheap but offer outstanding manufacturing blended with simple elegant styling and great attention to detail

The Daily Mail

We had some great publicity in the Daily Mail this week when they recommended us as a great gifts website and featured the bouquet vases designed by Christian von Ahn and made by Phillipi of Germany

Glam boutique accessories

Our bathroom collection grows again.
We've added the 'Glam' boutique accessories, a range of crystal clear acrylic storage accessories to hold cosmetics, make up, cotton wool balls etc.

Classy Cappuccino Cups

The cups and mugs section has been increased with a select range of cappuccino cups and cappuccino cup sets produced by the well renowned brand LSA international (one of our favourite companies to deal with)

Lead Crystal Stemware

The latest range to be added is the exciting tornado range of 24% lead crystal stemware that includes wine glasses, wine goblets and champagne flute sets.

Bath and Shower Mats

These are normally useful but dull but no longer...
We've added a number of bath and shower mats that make these mundane items a bit of fun. They include mats made from smooth plastic pebbles together with cute fish and duck designs that match the bathroom scales, bath pillows etc.

Bathroom Cabinets & Mirrors

The ranges of bathroom cabinets and mirrors has been expanded with agreat range from Sloegrin that includes White MDF cabinets, stainless steel and mirror door cabinets together with plain and LED illuminated bathroom mirrors

Our range of traditional wooden childrens toys has started well and we have expanded the range. Products now include height charts, wooden mobiles, bookends and tableware

Pamela has added some lovely new accessories ranging from storage jars through to fresh coloured colanders available in red, green or black.

To further add to the choices of coloured accessories, she is adding a range of glass worktop savers by Lifestyle designs

Wooden toys

Pamela was wandering round the Birmingham spring fair when she spotted a range of hand painted wooden toys made by Orange Tree Designs.

She fell in love with them and decided that she liked them so much she had to create a completely new category for childrens wooden toys

Cool Kitchen Accessories

Pamela has found some great soap dispensers and dishwashing sets to add to her kitchen accessories ranges.

They really do add style to the mundane task of washing up!

Spring Fair

We braved the snowstorms to visit the spring fair in Birmingham.
Saw some great new home accessories and picked up ideas for new products to add to the site. One of the highlights for us was Stoneglow candles who are one of our favourite suppliers, their new ranges of scented candles are so nice we wanted to buy the lot.
Meanwhile watch this space for lots of new ranges!

Bathroom accessories grow again

Pamela has added new products and categories to the bathroom accesories section. New products include toilet brushes and bins and laundry baskets and laundry bags.
Our favourite new product is the help toilet brush. If ever a toilet brush could be fun then this is it!

We've just added a collection of laundry baskets annd bags to our range of bathroom accessories.
These are from Zone of Denmark - one of our favourite suppliers!

A nice supplier

We saw the new rep from LSA today. She really impressed us so we've decided to add loads more of their products including vases, jugs and drinking glasses.
That's what a good rep is all about!
